The “wh” question “what” is formed by using the word kí, as in:
Kí l’orúko e? What is your name?
Kí l’o je lánàá? What did you eat yesterday?
Kí l’o fé? What do you want?
To respond to the above questions you can say:
Orúko mi ni Kúnlé My name is Kunle
Mo je búrédì lánàá I ate bread yesterday
Mo fé okò tuntun I want a new car
